We are an independent local run familiar hostel. It has been really amazing to receive fantastic guests from all the corners of the world...the exchange of cultures, stories and travels, is over-welcome!! We are running our own Hostel since 7 years and it has been the best times of our life's. At the moment we are looking for some Volunteers to help in different positions.

We like to know different cultures and our main goal is to know a litlle bit about every single person that work or Volunteer with us, culture, food, traditions...it's the best way to get to know trully a country, cook together, talk about our traditions and explane and show our beautiful country. 

In the free time, workers and volunteers will have a lot to explore... our hostel is located near beautiful beaches and several points of interest. Berlengas Island, òbidos castle, buddha eden garden, supertubos beach

(well known because of the World Surf League). Is the perfect spot for surf lovers. The beaches are amazing and they will be able to enjoy perfect sunsets. The shifts are different depending on the positions you have, the minimum period also. If you are a committed person and responsible worker that enjoy meeting people from all around the world and the willing to get to know one of the little pearls in the West Coast of Portugal, you will be more than welcome to join the Team!! In exchange, you get free accommodation and breakfast.

➧➽ What is expected in each task (summary):

- 𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙡 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨  -->  (Duration two weeks: can stay longer, according results)   

- Leading & developing daily activities inside the hostel such as; Drinking Games, Pub Crawl, Pub Quiz/Trivia, Beer Pong Tournament, etc,

                        - Promote the bar (promote beer sales during activities).

- Be a party animal, who likes naturally to lead the vibe of the hostel and to spread everyone with their energy.

                        - Create content for social networks during activities

                         ** Requirements **

                        - Previous experience in developing activities in Hostels

                        - Be a natural party person

                        - Respecting and defending the interests of the hostel.

                        - 3 hours of work per day, with 2 days off per week.

If you are more a person who enjoys sunsets every day, than probably this is not the right place for you to volunteer. 

- 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶-𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗿  -->  (Duration two weeks: can stay longer, according results)

                      - Help with multitasking at the Hostel and rentals.

                      - During the rest of the shift you must help at reception if there is nothing else to do.

                         ** Requirements **   

                      - 3 hours of work per day, with 1 day off per week.

          - Active morning person

          - This is a Hostel with daily activities at the end of the day, so if you like to be part of the activities and the Hostel vibe, you are more than welcome. If you are more a person who enjoys sunsets every day, than probably this is not the right place for you to volunteer. 

- 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙛𝙩 --> (Minimum duration of 2 months)  NOT AVAILABLE FOR NOW

                        - Shift from 00:00 to 08:00 at the Hostel reception.

- A non-social profile, keep the hostel silent at night.

- At the reception, during the night shift, must communicate the essential and not be the "starter" for conversation for the reception not to become a social area causing noise. has to be a personality strict and direct.

- Outside of your shift, try don't interact with guests to must, to avoid putting yourself in a difficult position during the night shift.

- 6 days work, 1 day off per week. Chance to stay longer in these position. Pocket money in this position.

This Hostel has a code of conduct and rules in relation to the interests of the hostel, if they are broken or not respected by the workers or Volunteers, we reserve the right to end the experience immediately, having to leave the hostel immediately. By proposing to this experience, you accept these conditions.
